Force Consults, LLC provides consulting services, independent reviews of use of force incidents, training, and testimony.

While we provide services to agencies and individuals, our primary mission is education—education on the use of force, court rulings, statutory requirements, and the science of human factors and how they relate to force. We want to work together with agencies to understand these concepts and tailor our interaction to the needs of the agencies, individuals, and stakeholders. We also emphasize how training influences use of force decision making and promote best practices in skill acquisition through an ecological approach to training. Force Consults, LLC delivers consistent, research based educational content for law enforcement professionals and anyone interested in use of force principles and analysis. Our guiding principle is not merely to train officers on what to do, but to help them—and all stakeholders—understand what happens to the human body and mind during a use of force incident beyond the legal considerations which in turn helps them make better decisions and understand proper methods of training.
